The project
New construction designs in major cities must contend with space requirement issues when designing commercial kitchens in restaurant spaces. One of the more cost-effective solutions is to design multiple hoods onto a sign exhaust fan – allowing for minimal ductwork installation and one air cleaning unit on the exhaust.
Solution
The ECOAZUR Plus system with modulating dampers is the perfect solution for energy savings on this type of design. Allowing each hood to modulate individually and tailor the airflow at every duct connection to the cooking activity occurring below the associated hood.
